1. Your Resume Stays Local
Everything you type or paste into 4ResumeOnline — your LinkedIn profile text, name, contact details, work history, education and skills — is processed by JavaScript inside your own browser. That content is never transmitted to, received by, or stored on our servers. We could not read your resume even if we wanted to.
2. Browser Storage
To let you close the tab and come back later, your draft resume and your PDF unlock status are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device. This data never leaves your device. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for 4resumeonline.com — note that this also removes your draft and your PDF unlock flag (your purchase can be restored by contacting us with your receipt).
3. Payments
The one-time PDF payment is processed entirely by PayPal (including guest card payments). Your card number, PayPal credentials and billing details are entered on PayPal's pages and handled under PayPal's privacy policy; we never see or store them. What we receive from the processor is the standard merchant information about a completed payment (such as the amount, date, and the buyer name/email on the receipt), which we keep only for accounting, refunds and support.
4. Advertising & Cookies
This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. Depending on your region, you may be shown a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set. Aside from advertising and payment processing, this site sets no tracking cookies of its own.
5. Email Contact
If you email us or use the contact form (which opens your own email app), we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we never sell or share it.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and similar laws you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data. Because your resume content never reaches us, the personal data we can hold about you is limited to payment receipts and email correspondence — to exercise any right over those, email [email protected].
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
